From the north in Taipei to the south in Kaohsiung, We have been serving the Taiwan market in both the IS and RT sectors ever since our founding.

HONG KONG

In 2014, GRC was offered the opportunity to work for one of our existing clients (ALSTOM) in HK and thus sparked our expansion into this HK.  Since then, we have scaled to 35 staff and with a workforce of 200 - securing a solid foothold in this market.

VIETNAM

In 2014, GRC was referred by Hitachi TW to their HCMC project to support the design works of HCMC Line 1 MRT project.  Building off this opportunity, we continued to secure the construction scope and successfully became one of the first players in the market.

THAILAND

In 2014, GRC was offered the opportunity to work for one of our existing clients (ALSTOM) in HK and thus sparked our expansion into this HK.  Since then, we have scaled to 35 staff and with a workforce of 200 - securing a solid foothold in this market.

CHINA

In 2012, GRC saw an opportunity  for light  rail trams in the China market. Leveraging  our relationships with Ansaldo and the China Northern  Rail, we forged a cooperation  with a transfer  of technology from Ansaldo to a JV company between GRC and CNR for the China market.

Our Story

Founded in 1980, GRC began its days as an industrial equipment importing/marketing firm with full integration of application engineering and system implementation services.

Our Philosophy 

General Resources Company, in practice for over 35 years, is an industry recognized, fully integrated engineering, project managing, niche marketing firm situated in the heart of the Asia-Pacific region, Taiwan.

Why GRC

GRC has been in the industrial engineering industry for more than 30 years of which, 25 years was in the railway engineering industry. Having seen the industry go through its peaks and lows gives us an excellent insight into what truly works and what simply doesn’t.
